JOSH REID JONES

Interim CEO 

Josh brings 20 years of social impact, community development and program design and delivery experience to the team at KABV. With a lifetime of experience and expertise, Josh brings his enthusiastic approach to creating a brighter future for communities, ensuring that everyone is empowered to look after the environment, and each other.

When not at work, you will likely find Josh out in Victoria’s most beautiful places, trail running and hiking in the high country, or out in the surf along our world famous coastline.

SIMBA MATSHE

Program Manager 

Simba overseas KABV’s volunteer programs including Stationeers, Adopt a Roadside, and Corporate Volunteering. With experience in business, hospitality, and entertainment, he thrives in organisations united by a common purpose.

Simba’s love for creativity, leadership, and the environment drives his commitment to building a sustainable future. He understands the significance of community in achieving collective goals and excels in empowering diverse groups of volunteers.

EMMA WHITE

Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Emma has over 10 years of experience in event management with a degree in Natural Resource Recreation and has a passion to create a more sustainable environment.

Emma’s interest in working for a nonprofit came after doing an internship with the “W.O.L.F Sanctuary” managing and planning their fundraising events to support the wolf-dog breeds that were given a second chance at life. Emma lives in Melbourne and loves supporting communities to Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria.

KARTIK SHAH

Treasurer

Kartik has more than 14 years of experience in accounting roles, including 6 years with the Private Clients practice of PwC Melbourne, covering all aspects of external financial reporting and financial due diligence. Kartik possesses strong analytical skills, has a versatile understanding of business operations and processes. He will be taking on the position as Treasurer for KABV.

KIRSTIN COOTE

From very early on, Kirstin loved to dismantle and reassemble her toys to try to understand how and why things worked. This evolved, through successful, and sometimes unsuccessful attempts,  to provide a wonderful learning ground for her career. After completing a BSAppSc(Hons) in Environmental Science from RMIT she spent many years working with various levels of government both nationally and internationally as well as with business and industry helping to do better for the planet and its people. This has been primarily in the area of waste and resource recovery including roles on executive boards and industry groups to go beyond words and ‘be the change you want to see in the world’. She currently leads the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Actions’ circular economy team focussed on building a sustainable and thriving circular economy for Victoria.

MARCUS SEAL

Chair

Marcus has spent the majority of his career in entertainment marketing and has held several executive roles at multi-national and privately-held organisations.

He is currently General Manager of the iconic Rock Posters company where he has overseen meaningful evolution in the outdoor advertising business in terms of leadership in environmental care.

Under his watch Rock Posters has been recognised as a winner of the prestigious Premier’s Sustainability Award and has also received the City of Darebin’s Sustainability Leaders Award.

Marcus has been an active volunteer with Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria’s Stationeers Program where he has regenerated a substantial parcel of land in his neighbourhood, he is also a director of Green Music Australia,  a registered charity, harnessing the cultural power of our influential music scene to create a greener, safer future.
